So premies, it's late … very late. And, you know, it's so incredible in one sense.

Because after the satsang we went back to the residence. I finished my dinner and all of a sudden it was like the hurricane was starting to hit. And some of the premies who are down in Miami were just saying that they're starting to feel it.

And it was such a thing. Because the hurricane was going to hit here, too. There was that possibility. And it is gigantic in its size and by the time the eye itself would hit Miami, it'd be showing very positive results here. So it was like, okay, well let's just get the program over so that you guys can go back home before you get trapped here.

Because I don't think there's going to be any experience of a hurricane that you want in Kissimmee, Florida. It's got nothing to do with the experience of Guru Maharaj Ji.

And then taking that opportunity, taking that moment, a little bit more, just to be able to come here. Just to be able to have the darshan line and then again find a little bit of time - I mean, the darshan line isn't finished yet because we ran ahead of ourselves and the premies are still being shuttled back and forth via cars. So they're coming slowly. Out of breath, some of them. And after all of them have come we'll start the darshan line again.

But it's only to have that experience. You know, in our concept, what is it? To us, it's after the program was finished, after the satsang was finished, "Okay, let's go home. It's done." The announcer probably got up and started making his announcements. That's the end of the day. Everybody's going home. Take off your ties, take off this, take off …

That's what we live with so much. And perhaps in some areas it doesn't even matter. Perhaps in some areas there is no problem. But then there is definitely one area that we neglect. The most important - perhaps the most important area in our lives. What Guru Maharaj Ji offers us and what do we offer to Guru Maharaj Ji.

In this world, we look for experiences. Everybody is looking for an experience. It's almost if you even came to receive Knowledge - or most of you who haven't received Knowledge are even here because you are looking for an experience. What is that experience that Guru Maharaj Ji wants to give to you? What is that experience that you want to receive from Guru Maharaj Ji? What is that experience that you're after anyway? Do you know?

And there is a big step right there. There is a big hurdle right there that you try to cross, thinking "Yes, maybe I can figure it out for myself. Guru Maharaj Ji will give me the experience. When the experience comes I'll experience something. But in the meantime, let me figure it out for myself."

I think that's sometimes the worst mistake we end up with. Because why does surrender come into this whole play? What is the meaning, what is the value, of surrender? And it's so obvious. It's that without surrender, without letting go - without letting go to Guru Maharaj Ji - nothing is possible. Because the stage that we sit on is a fake stage. The entire atmosphere that we build around ourselves, however much it suits us - maybe it is for the purpose of ego, maybe it is the purpose of - whatever. Doesn't matter.

And Guru Maharaj Ji - it's like Guru Maharaj Ji's there. Guru Maharaj Ji is constant. And we have to realize that. We have to understand that. We go back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and our understanding dwindles back and forth. And Guru Maharaj Ji wants to give us an experience. Guru Maharaj Ji wants to take us to an …

I mean, give or take or whatever. This is just the idiosyncrasies of the English language. You have to try to put it in the nearest, closest figure you can find. Otherwise the English language can get so complicated sometimes that you can't make heads or tails out of it.

But it's so simple. Let go. Surrender to Guru Maharaj Ji and let Guru Maharaj Ji take you wherever he is taking you. Without having those expectations. Without having those opinions. Without saying, "Oh yes, this is the way it's got to be."

Because what do we know of it? Guru Maharaj Ji's Grace - what do we know of it? We try to translate. "Yes, yes. This is Guru Maharaj Ji's Grace. This isn't Guru Maharaj Ji's Grace. This has to be Guru Maharaj …"

And that's why we have to surrender. Because we are ignorant. And somewhere we have to realize that we are ignorant. Somewhere we have to give. For such a long time we hold on. We grow up. Even in the process of our growing up, we resist, resist, resist. Because we don't want to give in. We somehow end up giving in to the mind and the mind doesn't want to give in to anything else. It's got to hold its own anywhere.

This is what wars are about. This is what fights are about. This is what crime is about. And we come to a point in our lives that we realize that whatever it is, it's empty. It's like all our lives we're poor. And we get a coat. And we pride ourselves on this coat. It's almost in brand-new condition, or whatever. And we pride ourselves on this coat. And we go out and every day we get a dime. And we put it in this coat thinking that, "Yes, in ten years I'm going to have a lot of money."

And then in the tenth year you reach down in your pocket and you find that it was a great big empty hole to start with. And you have no idea where all those dimes that you saved every day, every month, every year - where have they gone?

All the experiences that this world has to give - where is that experience right now, to be accounted for? And yet, right now there is only one experience and that is the experience of that surrender, of that Grace of Guru Maharaj Ji and you opening up to it. The more you can open up to it, the more you can experience it, the more you can take that step forward, the more you can have faith in Guru Maharaj Ji.

Because you have to have faith in Guru Maharaj Ji. If you don't have faith in Guru Maharaj Ji, then when Guru Maharaj Ji does extend his hand, will you grab it? Certainly not. It'll be that resistance. "No, no. How can I?" Only when that faith is there, that, "Yes. It doesn't matter." When you have that faith so implicitly in your heart that it doesn't matter, that you know - and it's above and beyond knowing. Then really something, an experience in our lives, does manifest.

And Guru Maharaj Ji's Grace - when we make that little effort on our own behalf, when we make that little bit of effort, saying - not only just saying "okay" verbally or doing such an action that might constitute that yes, you just said, "Okay." But really in our heart. Really in our heart, to say, "Okay. Yes. I want to. I will."

And then to do something that can lead you to that experience of Guru Maharaj Ji. Because without that …

Okay, what's going to happen now? Very soon you're all going to start leaving. And that's the idea. That's the idea. You all get back to wherever you have to go before this hurricane strikes.

And what are you going to do? Are you going to escape one hurricane and get caught in another one? Like the one hurricane you always get caught in? After every program, after every time, after every satsang? What is it? Where is it at?

There are communities. Some people want to go to the community satsang; some people don't want to go to the community satsang. Maybe you make a determination, "Yes, I'll make an effort to

go to the satsang."

It's not a community satsang. Satsang is satsang. And satsang is something which is that part that you have to complete, that experience that you have to have of satsang, service and meditation. Not "chit-chat" and not your mind and not your egos. But really the true experience of satsang, service and meditation.

And what's going to happen? Are you just going to get out of here and start driving toward your hometown and get there? What is it going to be? Is it just going to be a lot of talk about this program again?

"Wow, that was nice, you know. It was nighttime. I was so sleepy." Or, "This happened," or "that …"

I mean, I'm pretty sure every one of you has a story. But is that the experience? Is that the reason why you even started off to come here? Is that the reason why you even received Knowledge? Is that the reason why you even became curious? Is that the reason why you ever even felt a thirst in your heart? No.

This is your opportunity to take that determination, to have that step available to you. And it is to just really let go to Guru Maharaj Ji, to really have that faith in Guru Maharaj Ji, to really understand the meaning of satsang, service and meditation and to really do satsang, service and meditation.

I don't know. Whatever happens. Maybe in a few days we will try to organize some retreats in a few places, and see what happens with those retreats. Maybe some premies can come together. The East Coast premies can come together in one place and middle of America can come together in one place and the West Coast can come together in one place. Maybe we could have three retreats but what difference is all that going to make? What is it going to mean? What is it going to matter? I mean can't we see …? When is our saturation point going to open up? Isn't Guru Maharaj Ji and what Guru Maharaj Ji is giving us really above and beyond what we can, in fact, take right now? And then what kind of saturation point are we really waiting for?

And this is what we have to do. Open those eyes and look, to see the realization that Guru Maharaj Ji's trying to impart now, that experience that Guru Maharaj Ji is trying to give now, is there for you to take, there for you to experience. And all you have to do is just to make that effort, is just to grab that hand.

So premies, very soon, Hans Jayanti is coming up. And there'll be a lot of premies needed here for the preparation of Hans Jayanti. And the world tour is coming up and what have you. There's so much going on.

Yet, where you are concerned, where does that all happen? Nowhere. Your effort still has to be the same. You can't say, "Oh, Guru Maharaj Ji, you're doing a world tour so I can make a little bit less effort this year." That doesn't even make sense. Just - just try. Because Guru Maharaj Ji is there. Guru Maharaj Ji's mercy is there. Guru Maharaj Ji's love is there. You just have to try. You just have to give it a chance. You have to have that faith in Guru Maharaj Ji. And it will manifest for you. It will happen for you.
