Prem Rawat: Fine Art

Prem Rawat's fine art photography allows him to enjoy some of his favourite activities: smoking, boasting, expensive gadgets and making money from his dedicated wealthy devotees. The first set of prints of these pictures were mounted, framed and auctioned off for $332,000 to get TPRF off the ground. They still cost 1,000 a pop plus pnp. It's a win-win for his rich devotees. By hanging these photos in their homes they got to show how spiritual they are and how rich they are - at least to other devotees of Rawat's.

It's not as if Rawat's smoke photography technique, like his meditation and associated teaching, is in any way unique. Learning how to photograph smoke is free and easily available as is teaching of meditation techniques.

Followers of Rawat arranged an exhibition of his Fine Art in a Malayan gallery. There was at least one art connoisseur there.
