Maharaji holds two extra meetings
It was not until the instructor conference that Maharaji confirmed he would meet with aspirants in Melbourne and Brisbane. Despite the short preparation time, venues were obtained and aspirants invited.
50 aspirants and a similar number of instructors gathered at the Town House Hotel in Carlton on the evening of 2 June. An informal cup of tea was served in the foyer before the meeting.
Maharaji spoke in an intimate casual manner. He talked about the distinction between life itself and the things we do. Another short break was announced and tea was again served in the foyer. Upon resuming, everyone seemed more relaxed. Maharaji announced that he would be personally revealing Knowledge to them. This sparked a series of questions posed to Maharaji.
'When will you be returning?'
'Will you have the time to see us again?' Maharaji explained that the instructors would be assisting him in his absence and that he hoped to be returning soon.
On 11th June, Maharaji met with people from Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Mullumbimby area. Some came from as far away as Sydney and Cairns.
There was an intimate atmosphere at the clean, modern Brisbane Stock Exchange building, concentrated yet relaxed. Guests were particularly pleased with the informal interaction with Maharaji.
Greg Sparks from Lismore commented 'When Maharaji walked on the stage, that was it … it was just happening for me.'
Some appreciated having the chance to ask questions. 'is it a heartfelt thing?' Answer: 'Yes.'

Helen Hussey, instructor in Brisbane, asked people preparing for Knowledge who attended the Brisbane meeting what their thoughts were after spending time with Maharaji:
'I think my participation in the event solidified my respect for Knowledge and my admiration for Maharaji. It made it all very real, by seeing him in the flesh.'
- Prue
'This was a very interesting, well presented talk. He taught to enjoy the simple things; eg a sunset, a beach. He mentioned that this is the time you have to make the most of this lifetime. He taught that the hidden resource is you, and that it is important to feel comfortable with yourself.'
- John
'I liked the way he speaks off the cuff, it just flows. I was really pleased we got the opportunity to see him, I can't wait to see him again. I really appreciate he comes to Brisbane.'
- Davina
'I'd heard people talk about him, and I had seen videos and it is hard to get excited. When he first walked on stage I wondered why they were all clapping. By about five minutes I know why they had clapped, because of the respect for what he is, and the whole simplicity. So right, so simple. He just says Knowledge is there if you want it. It was good. After the meeting I felt great and so sure of what I wanted.'
- Gordon
'It was good to see him. When he was talking it was like he was saying my thoughts. At one stage a tear came into my eye. I felt it was a very moving experience for me. It was refreshing to feel he was thinking in the same lines that I was. I wasn't expecting anything, but it was very nice. From that day I've been appreciating my life more. It was refreshing to talk to someone who is a "Joe Bloggs" like you, but he is actually doing it.'

Six videos in one
A new 90 minute video for people who are preparing to receive Knowledge is currently being used by instructors around the world.
The video is a compilation of six excerpts from Maharaji's aspirant meetings in Europe earlier this year.
It is designed to be shown in six separate screenings over several weeks.
Rosie Lee, who helped develop the video's unique format, says it progresses from a basic explanation of Knowledge to more specific information in other segments.
