Prem Rawat's Wedding Anniversary Telephone Call
The premies at IHQ called Guru Maharaj Ji and Durga Ji at about 2:30 p.m. on May 20, 1977 to wish them a Happy Anniversary. First the premies sang a revised version of "Happy Birthday" (Happy Anniversary to You, etc.), and then they heard this message over the loudspeaker:
Maharaj Ji: Thank you very much, premies. Durga Ji: Thank you!
Maharaj Ji: Well I guess we both could say a lot. But there's only, I think, one thing that'll conclude everything, is that we love you! And that's, that's, I think, the essence of everything. Want to say something, Marolyn?
Durga Ji: I just, I just wanted to tell the premies that I just feel like we're all sharing so much love today. I know, I know I am. I just - it's a completely amazing day. Just - love's completely taken over and I, I can tell that it's just happening everywhere, that premies all over are feeling that it's just a very special day. I'm just happy we're all experiencing it together. Jai Satchitanand. Maharaj Ji: (laughing with Durga Ji) Okay. I love you, everybody.
Durga Ji: 'love you. Goodbye. Maharaj Ji: Bye.
