Guru Maharaj Ji, London Guru Puja, June 23 1979
If I were a devotee, which I also am - as a devotee I don't want to go to hell and I don't want to go to heaven, either. What is there in heaven for me? … Because to me, that's not a place. My place belongs with Guru Maharaj Ji. Because I am a devotee. If I weren't a devotee then, yes, there would be a heaven for me and there would be a hell for me. But for a devotee there is only one thing. Lord. For a devotee, there is only one thing. Devotion. That's it. Do you see? The category of devotee is different. In the category of devotee you have devoted yourself. You have tied yourself through the 'riggers' of devotion to somebody, to the Lord. Anbd that's it. That's where it sits; that's where it lies. That's where it starts and that's where it ends.
