FOLLOW THE MASTER
All things proceed from God. His power is unbounded. His wisdom is for eternity, and His goodness endureth forever.
He sitteth on His throne in the centre of the universe and the breath of His mouth giveth life to the world.
Hear then His voice, for it is gracious; and he that obeyeth shall establish his mind in Peace Profound; and bring everlasting growth to the Soul that resideth within his body, state after state, on this earth.
- Unto Thee I Grant, an ancient Tibetan manuscript.
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
- 2 Corinthians 3, 17-18.
By dwelling in one the Word dwelt in all, so that the one being constituted the Son of God in power, the same dignity might pass to the whole human race.
- St. Cyril of Alexandria.
Even as the moon makes light in black darkness, So in one moment the supreme bliss removes all defilement.
- Saraha's Treasury of Songs.
The moth after seeing the light, never again returns to the darkness. The ant dies in the sugar-heap, but never retreats therefrom. Similarly, the lover of God gladly devotes his life to the attainment of Divine bliss and cares for nothing else.
- Ramakrishna
A man has many skins in himself, covering the depths of his heart. Man knows so many things he does not know himself. Why, thirty or forty skins or hides, just like an ox's or a bear's, so thick and hard, cover the soul. Go into your own ground and learn to know yourself there.
- Master Eckhart
PEACEMEAL
And God said, Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food.
- Genesis 1:29
