REMINDERS
There are certain policies that apply to each event in order to create a safe and comfortable environment. Attendees have requested to know what the policies are in advance so that they can cooperate. Listed below are the main policies and the reasons why they are in effect.
- No cameras, tape recorders or video equipment are permitted:
Reason: All material at the event is copyrighted. Only one company has been given legal permission to record or take pictures at the event. - All briefcases, backpacks, large bags and luggage must be checked (or preferably be left in your hotel or the trunk of your car):
Reason: This is a fire regulation and is strictly enforced by the Fire Marshall. He has the right at any time to delay or cancel the event if he feels we are in violation of fire codes. Large items taken to your seats are considered obstacles in a emergency evacuation. - Please do not bring children under 12 years of age to events.
Reason: It is very difficult for children to remain still and quiet for an hour and a half or more. Their slightest activity is distracting for the others attendees. There will be no child care provided at events. Please make your own arrangements in advance. - Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol or anyone causing a disturbance will not be admitted.
Reason: This is not only the policy of the venue but is also to ensure the safety of the attendees and the focus of the environment. - Please try to be in your seat 15 minutes before the start time.
Reason: Last minute arrivals may be entering a darkened hall for the viewing of a video, and moving about in the dark is both unsafe and disturbing to other attendees.

TRANSLATION
Translation will be available in Spanish, French, Italian, German, Hindi, Tamil, Japanese, Mandarin, guese, Gujarati, and possibly other languages. Translation headsets should be reserved at the same hat a seat reservation is made. A rental fee of $35.00 U.S. per translation headset is requested. are requested to be at the hall one hour before the event for headset distribution.

The safest routes to the Miami Beach Convention Center are indicated on the map above. Stay on these highways until you reach Miami Beach. Distance: approximately 9 miles.
Travel Time: 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
Parking: There is ample parking at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
SAFETY SUGGESTIONS
- Walk with another person whenever possible.
- Use main streets.
- Cross streets only at intersections and crosswalks.
- At night: Always walk with another person. Do not walk alone. Women are advised to walk in groups of 3 or more.
- At night: Use only main streets that are well lit.
- Women in particular are advised not to accept rides from strangers.
- Take care of valuables. Do not invite pickpockets.
- a. Use the safe deposit facility at the front desk of your hotel. Carry the minimum of valuables on your person.
- b. Keep wallets, credit cards and passports in a secure inner pocket.
- c. For women: carry your purse in such a way that it can not be easily snatched.
- When renting a car, ask the rental company to give you their visitor safety guidelines. Please follow their instructions carefully.
