You Are Complete PWK-033

Hello, shalom, and that's what I've come to talk about. It's been a long time since I've been in Israel and got this opportunity, so I came, got the invitation, so I came.

Maharaji in Tel Aviv 2008

And as usual, everybody that is here goes through their little routines, little ideas, little journeys, two steps forward, two steps back, three steps forward, four steps back, things like that. And most of us in this world are trying to make sense of it. What does this mean? On the highway, you drive, you have signs. Maybe the name of your destination, 20 miles, 15 miles. So you know where you are. But in the highway of life, what signs? There are no signs. All you have is this calendar. You see another year go by. You celebrate. Most people celebrate. Happy New Year. They know what it means. They're too drunk. But everybody is saying, Happy New Year, Happy New Year, so Happy New Year, Happy New Year. That's it. New Year is here.

Now what do you do? Now what do you do? All of a sudden, you find yourself alive. You exist. Now what do you do? Trying to make some meaning. Get some answers. Lots of questions. Very few answers. Lots of misunderstandings. Very few real understandings. Lot of problems. Very few solutions. And yet, time is this big hand that keeps pushing you. You want to stop. At 20, you have a lot more intelligence than when you were 10. At 30, you will have a lot more intelligence than when you were 20. At 40, you will have a lot more intelligence than when you were 30. And by intelligence, I mean maybe you are better prepared to cope. Maybe reset a few things. Maybe correct a few mistakes. But the hand of time is pushing you and will not let you stop. Not even for one minute to take a break, to gather, to prepare a little bit more. No. Not allowed. You're being pushed through. So what do you do?

Maharaji in Tel Aviv 2008

The other day, I was going through my computer and I had this file I was watching. It was a show I recorded, downloaded. And it was about prophecies. And I was watching it. I finished watching it. And it scratched my head because I know about prophecies. I've heard about prophecies. And the prophecies is the perfect tool to confuse masses of people. And that's how exactly it is used. It is not used to solve a problem. To point out the obvious. Because then I was talking to somebody and I said, I know about prophecies. I can prophesize. Now let me tell you about the real prophecy. Not written in some book by nobody knows who, when. If they really said it. But somebody thought they said it. Maybe they said it. Somebody wrote it down that they said it. Maybe they just wrote it down and said, this does not sound good. Let's put his name on here. Then it'll sound better. I know. And certainly that person is not around to say, did you say that?

But let me tell you about another prophecy. This one is good. And the prophecy is, and this is how it goes. That one day you were born. This is not the prophecy part. It's coming. And now you are alive. One day, here comes the prophecy. One day you will have to go. And here is the real prophecy. Before you go, before you go, you will have the opportunity to fulfill yourself. How do you like that prophecy? You know, people want to believe in prophecies. They wouldn't know what a prophecy is if it hit them like a truck on a street. Because this prophecy I just told you about has been playing on the face of this earth. Human being after human being after human being after human being after human being. I'm not talking about generations. I'm not talking about centuries. I'm not talking about civilization. I'm talking about human being after human being after human being after human being. Because every human being that came on this earth went through this prophecy.

And this was the possibility. This is your possibility. Why should you fulfill yourself? Why? The answer to this question is written on the scripture which is the holiest and the oldest of all the scriptures. And this scripture resides in the temple of your heart. You must realize this. This is the only scripture that does not require that you be literate or illiterate. Every other scripture requires you to know how to read. If you know how to read, you're not going to read the scripture. And believe me, the first human beings on the face of this earth were illiterate for a very long time. For a very long time. Until somebody came up with a line and said, this means this. And then after that, it has been a Pandora's box. Our language is better. No, our language is better. No, this language is better. No, this is the mother of the language. This is the father of the language. No, all languages came from Latin. No, all languages came from Sanskrit. No, Sanskrit and Latin were sisters. Sex? In languages? If you talk about human imagination, it's fantastic.

Little lines, you know, one line goes like this, it's Hindi. One line goes like this, it's Urdu. One line goes like that, and it's something else. Just a line. Oh, but this is this language. What do people do? They express themselves. Maybe they say it differently, but what they're saying is exactly the same thing. If somebody's standing on your foot, whether it is a Japanese, says, you're standing on my foot. Whether it is in Hindi, you're standing on my foot. It means exactly the same thing. It may sound completely different, but it means exactly the same thing. Get off my foot, you're on my foot. Same thing? Same thing? We forget who we are. Biggest problem. We forget. What is this? What is it? It's the skin. Bones. Same vulnerabilities.

Maharaji in Tel Aviv 2008

We are human beings on the face of this earth, and we have ultimately the same passion. Ultimately, we want to be in peace. Ultimately, we want to feel contentment. Ultimately, we want to feel happy. Ultimately, we want to feel that inner joy, that inner peace. Something that doesn't just come and go. Something that we can call our own. What is your own? What is your own? Nothing. Nothing. ou cling on to all the different things in this life. This is mine. One day, it's gone. And you wonder what happened. You wonder what happened. What is your very own? Something that will not abandon you till the very end. Something that is real, not a fantasy. Something that can never part from you. It doesn't matter where you go. What happens? Good times, bad times. Things happen. Things turn. Roads turn. World changes. In an instant.

All that you thought was a certain way is no more. Sages have called this the grand illusion. Because it looks so real. It looks incredibly real. But when you lift the veil, nothing there. Nothing.

So in this prophecy, what are you doing to fulfill this prophecy? You see, this prophecy is so different. Because in all the prophecies, the fulfillment of the prophecy is incumbent or dependent upon someone else. So and so will come. And so and so will do this. And then there will be peace. In this prophecy, the so and so is you. And the so and so has come. Very confronting prophecy. Because it's so convenient when it's somebody else. He will come. He will do. What do you do? Relax. Make a movie. Watch a movie about the prophecy coming true. Have fun. Think about it. Share it with your friends. Wonderful prophecy. Interpret it.

What is so different about Knowledge? What is so different about Knowledge? No interpretation required. None. Knowledge says, no, you experience it for yourself.

Everything else out there, let me interpret it for you. Let me really tell you what God meant when he said this. Why do I need interpretation of what God said? Oh, you won't understand. Who was God talking to then? Were you eavesdropping? He was really having a conversation with somebody else, and you said, oh, good idea. Were you a little spy? This is supposed to be for human beings, and human beings understand it? It doesn't make sense to me. But everybody out there, let me interpret what God said. Did it make anything clearer? No. Did it start the wars? Yes. My interpretation is better than yours. You know, there are things that bring out the best of a human nature, and there are things that bring out the worst of a human nature. What is your nature? Who are you? What is your nature? Are you kind? Are you kind? There's no question that there is kindness in you.

No question. And there is no question that there is anger in you. There is no question that there is love in you, and there is no question that there is hate in you. There's no question. Everything you hate, you despise in a person's nature is in you, and everything you love in a person's nature is in you, too. What manifests? What? Kindness or hate? When you watch a movie, now everything is becoming digital. In the old days, there used to be film, there was a projector, and the way it worked, the film was in front of the lamp, and then there was the lens and there was the screen. So if you didn't like the movie, you change the lens. You understood this. Right? And if you didn't like the movie, you didn't change the screen, you understood this. If you didn't like the movie, well, so today, we have digital everything, we have television. You are watching television and you are watching Channel 8, and you like it. What do you do? Change the TV? Get a new TV? What do you do? You change the channel. In the film, if you didn't like the movie, you change the film. Not the lens, not the shutter, not the screen.

What is being projected? What is being projected? What are you in touch with? Frustrated by justifications? Or delighted that you are alive? Which one? Frustrated? Trying to reason where you are on this highway of life? Trying to look for the answers of why this happened and why that happened and why that happened and why that happened? People do. Somebody, I was watching TV one day, and it's like, oh, but if you understand your past lifetime, you will be able to understand better the problems you have today. Really. Do you remember? Do you remember?? How come? How come? Would it be easy? Because if you were being punished for something from your last lifetime, the best way, you know, because they always say, if your child does something wrong and you're going to punish them, punish them now, not six months later, when they even remember what it was. Why is it that in this body, if I pinch me now, it hurts now? Not like I pinch myself now, then two days later, I'm flying and I go, ouch! Oh, I pinched myself. You see, you know, I really care. You want to live in your last lifetime? What can I do? If it's really important, I mean, then people tell you. You were an elephant in your last lifetime. You were a horse in your last lifetime.

You were a cow in your last lifetime. So what did I… I even understand the nature of cows. I really understand the nature of cows. I used to have cows, and I remember, and even a few years ago, this cow we had in the pasture, I went and looked at it, and it just looked at me with big eyes. And then it pulled out its big tongue and wiped its nose, and I'm like, what? And if I was a cow, what is it that I'm supposed to understand about being that cow from my last lifetime? What did I… I even know what… What did a cow do? Give sour milk, and that's why my milk keeps going bad every time? I mean, what is it? This is why I like milk? Because I was a cow? And I have bad memories of milk because, you know, somebody didn't quite know how to milk me? What is the point of this? The point of this is this. You are alive now, and if this means nothing to you, you are in serious trouble. You are in serious trouble. Where do they put the steering wheel of the car? The front or the back? What do you want to be looking at when you're driving on the highway? Front or the back? You need to see the back to make sure there's, you know, nobody coming. You need to see the front. That's your direction. All the tools that you need to find that fulfillment are available to you. You are not incomplete. You are complete. And no leap of faith has to be taken in the world of Knowledge. The jump. No.

Maharaji in Tel Aviv 2008

In Knowledge, it's very simple. One, you recognize and feel your thirst. This is where you begin. You recognize and feel your thirst. You feel your thirst? Be on your way. You recognize your thirst? Be on your way. I was in Miami. I was talking to this gentleman. He's going through the Keys. He said, I feel my thirst. What do I do? I feel my thirst. I said, you watch the DVDs, right? The keys are on the DVDs. You watch the DVDs, right? Yes. I said, do you push play on the DVD? He goes, yes. I said, that's your thirst. Causes you to go and push play. He got very happy. He understood his thirst. That it was a simple thing. He was probably thinking like, oh my God, dry throat and parched lips. I said, no. Something that inspires you to look, to find. Your thirst to be fulfilled. No leap of faith required. Then, you receive Knowledge. You practice. You enjoy. No leap of faith required. You experience. You like it? Take a walk. No leap of faith required. No blackmail. And no mention of hell. Threatening. Oh, if you do that, you will go to hell.

Let's talk about heaven. Not heaven after your death, but heaven here now. The heaven that is waiting for you. Your heaven. Your heaven that exists on the face of this earth. To meet. To see. To feel the divinity that is dancing within, inside of you. Not in imagination, but in reality. To reach within. And to know with certainty that I have felt mine. Not once. This gets better. This gets so much better. Because most people's concept of feeling peace is you feel peace once and that's it. It's like after you feel that peace once in your life, you become a vegetable. Nothing bothers you. It's there. Not a problem in the world. Nothing, nothing. Oh, I'm in peace. No. But those who are in peace are excited about the coming and going of this breath. Those who have truly felt the peace, you will see them dancing to the rhythm of this drum of breath. Not sitting idle. They have no one to show. Because those who have found the peace also realize one thing. They cannot show somebody they have peace.

Those people, you know, who renounce things in this world. Those people who renounce things in this world have this incredible need to announce that they have renounced. Now, who are they announcing? They are announcing to that they have given up this world. To this world. They are announcing to this world that I have given you up. Look. Look at me. I have given you up.

But those who have found the peace know what can I do to tell you I have found peace. There are no words that can describe it. There is no way I can reach in and grab a chunk of peace and try to give it to you. One sage says, it is very much like a person who is mute eating candy. Candy in the mouth. Mmm. Can he not enjoy it? Of course. But can he tell you how much he enjoys it? Not by words. So is the nature. And so is your nature. The want to be. Come what may. All the changes in this life. You know, you get to a point in your life and you hate changes. You want them. And you hear everyone, changes are good, changes are good, changes are good, changes are good. No, they are not. I want anything changed.

Very strange human nature. I mean, there may be a wife who absolutely does not like one single thing her husband does. I mean, maybe the husband comes home, really smelly, throws his shoes up on the sofas, you know, takes off all his clothes except the underwear, and sits down on the sofa, watches TV. Fine. That's my husband. Comes home. This is how I like it. These are my children. Every time they come, they make a mess out of my house, but I love it. No changes. Husband comes home, and the house is filthy, nothing is clean, food is burning. I'm home. No changes. No changes. Conversationally, oh yeah, I wish this was different, I wish this was different. No changes. This is serious. I know somebody, and he had this incredible job, very respected, signed a contract with this company, high up, very good salary. When his contract was up, the company said, that's it, you're finished. Next thing you know, he becomes an alcoholic, going crazy. Why? Because ultimately, he did not want any. Freaked him out. Freaked him out. But, when it happened, could not understand.

Will changes happen? Of course they will happen. Why will they happen? Because they're happening right now when you're sitting in your chair. Do you know that? Do you know that? You're not the same that walked in and sat down. You're not going to be the same that walks out of here. And tomorrow morning when you get up, you will not be the same. And tomorrow evening comes around, you will not be the same.

And every second, every minute, you are changing. Every second. You bought your watch, because it looked pretty. Now let me teach you how to look at it. When you went to buy your watch, you put it on your wrist. Oh, look, it looks very nice. Suit me? Yes. Now let me show you what is going on in this watch. In this watch, you have decided to undertake the measurement of something that is immeasurable. This watch does not tell you time. That's what you think it does. It tells you about you. That every second that goes by is the second which is not coming back. And it is incumbent upon you. This breath is not just a breath. Not just a breath. I'm not here to teach you Indian scriptures. But wisdom is wisdom wherever it comes from. Whether it's Chinese, whether it is Torah, whether it is Ramayana, whether it's Gita. Whether it is Bible, whether it is Quran. Or whether it is something inscribed in sand. Wisdom is wisdom. So I will say something that I like. And Ram says that

this vessel, this body is the vessel to cross this ocean.

Maharaji in Tel Aviv 2008

What is this ocean? That's a whole other topic. Whether you call it ignorance, whether you call it darkness, whether you call it illusion, it doesn't matter. But this is the vessel to cross this ocean. The coming and going of this breath is my blessing. You wanted to feel blessed, didn't you? Well, guess what? Every time this breath comes and goes, this is God's blessing to you. Now, just for a minute, forget about Ram said this. What else could this breath be? And it's coming and going. Is the blessing of your God on you? Is it not? It is the most subtle and it is the most divine. And it is the most powerful. Cannot take two, cannot take three, cannot take four. One. And this breath brings the gift. Is life not divine? Is it not truly the blessing? The coming and going of this breath is my blessing. Then he goes on to say,

what you need is a Master with strong arms who can row this boat across from one shore to the other.

Whatever the ignorance may be, whatever the ideas may be, to come across. To emerge the victor. To have fulfilled the prophecy. That's why I'm here today in Israel. A few weeks ago, that's why I was in Buenos Aires. And in a few weeks time, that's why I will be there in Australia. I help people fulfill their prophecy. So people say, am I a prophet? No. No. I'm not a prophet. Because I prophesize. I'm something else. Someone who helps fulfill the prophecy. Your prophecy. Because one day, like a wave on the beach. Takes all the holes and all the little mounds and makes them even. Seen that? You can go dig a hole on the beach, build a little sand castle and then the waves will come and groom the beach back to the way it was. So, this will happen. This is a prophecy. Powerful prophecy. And I am not the one to have prophesized that this time that you have, you can be fulfilled. Like Kabir says,

there is no question that the Almighty resides in every heart. There is no question. But joy is to those who have seen it in their heart.

Many questions? Many questions? And then there is only one answer. The world has prepared you for the questions. Let me prepare you for the answer. Problem, you know, that I see with this world is this. People are so obsessed with their questions. That even after they get the answer, they want to let go of the question. Question is a means to getting to the answer. forget that. Be glad to let go of the question when you find the answer.

In the realm of Knowledge, in the realm of Knowledge, questions die. The answer shines. And you rejoice. Your heart rejoices. This is what it's about. It's about joy. Not the joy of the world. Not the joy of the world. What does Meera say? It's like happy hour. Intoxicated. Intoxicated. In the intoxication of clarity. Do you know clarity was intoxicated? Do you know that? Clarity is amazingly intoxicating. Because when clarity hits you, it's like, wow. It's not like, oh. No. When clarity comes, it's like, wow. Amazing. Intoxicated. And this is about being intoxicated in the intoxication of clarity. This is about understanding. This is about focusing on this existence. This is about finding that God that resides within. Not the one that sits there and goes, you did that? You did that? Not the one who keeps ledgers. Not the one who goes around and saying, oh, you shouldn't have done that.

You know, to me, of all things that God knows, God knew one thing. I will need God. So God is supposed to know everything, right? Should past, present, future? Of course. Why not? In all the things God knows that the world can claim, God knew one thing. I will need God. When? Where? That's not the issue always. So if God was like a watch, I will forget. I guarantee you I will forget. So what did God do? Okay. This person will need me. I will place myself in a place where I will always be. In the war, yes. In jail, yes. In solitary confinement, yes. On top of a mountain, yes. Underwater, yes. Wherever I go, yes. And wherever I go, yes. I have found such a temple that wherever I walk, I'm in that temple. I cannot leave that temple. That's the temple inside of me. This temple has no gates. Nobody to keep out. And nobody to stop leaving. No gates. And when I go to this temple, my prayers are heard. Because I didn't even know what to pray for. I thought I needed to pray to pass my exams. Then one day I realized I'm not going to school anymore.

Maharaji in Tel Aviv 2008

Changes, you know those changes we like? Well, they happen. Some are good, some are bad. Some we like, some we like, but they happen. I didn't even know what to pray for. So now I understand what to pray for. What do I pray for? I pray for nothing. But I pray for that gratitude to fill. That's all. My wants will be many. I can want more things than this world could imagine. But I even know sometimes what it is that I want. And it is only when I get what I want that I realize I didn't want it. That's a little too late. But when I pray to be filled with gratitude, this suits me so well. To be thankful that I'm alive. A few days ago, not too long ago actually, just a few days ago, having one of those days where everything was kind of going wrong. Everything. I just smiled. You know what? Good day to remember that this breath just came into me. And all is well. All is well. But this, as the permanent isn't permanent, so the troubles of this world are not permanent either. Take solace. Take comfort. Your problems too one day will go away. They're temporary as well. The only thing permanent in nature is in your heart. Recognize that. And be fulfilled.

Fulfill the prophecy. The prophecy that was declared the day you were born. This is the prophecy that was made when you took your first breath. Fulfill it. And I can help you fulfill it. You have Knowledge? Fine. You have Knowledge? Fine. You want Knowledge? Fine. This prophecy can be fulfilled. So many people, so many people in this world are working on fulfilling this prophecy. And I am so glad. I am so glad that this prophecy is being fulfilled. You know, people come, people talk about solutions, people talk about you could do this, you could do that, how you could make your life a little easier, do this, do that. I'm here to talk about Knowledge, and this Knowledge that I'm here to talk about is for the rest of your life. The thing that I talk to you about is till the very last breath that you will take on the surface of this earth. This is no small matter. And that even up to that point in your life, you can feel this feeling inside. It's no small matter. To be content, when you look at it, to make that day, every day, meaningful. To catch every breath, and to be into joy.

This is what the prophecy says. This is what the prophecy says. I have no magic wand to wave when the prophecy gets fulfilled. No, this is all you are going to have to do. I'm just there to help you fulfill this prophecy.
