Here we have some captured images from scenes of Prem Rawat finding his 19th birthday present, an Aston Martin, from his premies. It can't have come as a complete surprise either, as his wife had requested donations for the Aston Martin during a "secret" telephone link-up between herself and the the major North American Divine Light Mission centres in late 1976. Durga Ji (the name of a Hindu destroyer goddess), a title bestowed upon her by her husband, did a phone feed to the North American premies asking each of them send $10 so she could buy this $30,000 car (in 1976 dollars) that he "really loved and couldn't stop talking about." Is the desire for an Aston Martin really what realized souls permanently in God-consciousness talk about?

It really, really looks like Rawat is blissed out by getting that Aston Martin, but he pretends, he wouldn't care "if there would be 100,000 Aston Martins" if he was dead. And he said: "I haven't just taken the Aston Martin and put it in a garage. I have involved that in the process of Knowledge." And it's not just in a garage, it's in an 18 car garage, it's part of his fleet of over 50 cars, it's part of the process of Knowledge, premies can do service, washing the Aston Martin, keeping it in perfect condition. As he drives down the freeway Rawat imagines himself in his Aston-Martin as 001, Bond, Prem Bond, dashing devil-may-care, irresistible to ladies Secret Agent of the Universe, Lord of MI5 with a licence to save all of humanity.

Rawat returns after the test drive, one lucky premie gets to do pranam. Mahatma Jagdeo, the notorious paedophile who escaped to India once his crimes were revealed, is close to Rawat as befits his high status. He was head of the Initiator Development Program at the time with a special interest in the Unity school.

"And it's almost an identical situation because none of that really came from what you would say my pocket, it's just all the effort of premies putting together but the way world looks at it, it is there and well it is there, there's no doubt about it, there is a 2 door, green Austin Martin sitting there and there's no doubt about it, I've driven it, that's what it is but there's a lot more story involved behind it, sometimes people don't understand but the point being having that car and I have 2 kids, that's the common thing, 2 or 3 kids, I have 2 kids, a boy and a girl, that's just beautiful. I have a lovely wife, that's beautiful (applause) a house, a car, kids, I have a lot of premies there who people would look at as servants, a lot of people come there who haven't received Knowledge and they say "Whoa, you have a lot of servants here, do you pay them, I mean do you do this or do you - they don't understand that, it's just really odd for people to understand. But the point is that I have all that and it like, it is all there and to me everything is there because of one thing and the way this world would look at it. It's working backwards. Cause I don't see things as world sees them, I see things as that they're there because something is sustaining them, without that, they wouldn't be there. I am there because something is sustaining it and if I am enjoying it the credit doesn't go to the item, or me, it goes to the thing that is sustaining me because without that thing that is sustaining me I wouldn't be here. If I wouldn't be here, who cares if there would be 100,000 Aston Martins, 3,000 jets or 500,000 houses you got. What difference does it make? You're gone, so I don't give the credit to either of those things, I give the credit to the thing which is making me come alive, which is making me here, which is bringing all of us together, which is making everything possible in this world." (applause)
