Welcome to PEAK, my series about understanding and discovering practical peace that lies in your heart. PEAK is an educational program to help you explore your own potential, to discover the self, to discover who you truly are. PEAK consists of nine chapters covering topics such as why feeling gratitude is a transformational experience, happiness, hope, and peace are always available to every human being.

Wherever we go, whatever we do, we carry these with us. Once you have completed the series and you want to pursue a practical way to be able to get in touch with the peace that lies inside of you, it's up to you to explore the possibility of the practical techniques of Knowledge. The techniques of Knowledge allow you to take your focus from the outside and take it to the inside, where in your heart you can feel and understand who you truly are.

After 1985 if a person had shown enough interest in "receiving Knowledge" they were tagged as aspirants and were expected to attend a certain number of Elan Vital programs watching videos of Maharaji's speeches, become known by the members of the Aspirant Team and meet with 'initiators' and generally become part of their premie community until such time as they were chosen to attend a Knowledge Session. Rawat had ordered the premies not to try to personally influence these aspirants, he wanted no interpretation but his own to be presented to aspirants.

Maharaji believed in two things, technology and Himself and he thought that if he could just get to people directly, without his followers' interference, he would win their hearts, minds and wallets. Wherever possible he introduced new technology into the propagation process and the administration and organisation of his followers. A formal process to brainwash aspirants could replace the haphazard system and hopefully prevent the large number of drop-outs after the Knowledge Sessions.

In the year 2001 Prem Rawat assured his followers that his "Knowledge" cannot be presented as a course.

"I don't know if you can present Knowledge as a course. Here watch 15 videos, it'll take 5 months and then you will be ready. This is much more of a personal journey. We can not start abdicating that responsibility by making it a course."

In 2003 it was decided to create a course and collect the cost beforehand from the current premies/PWiKS with an Initial Fund Drive

In 2005, Prem Rawat presented the processs to Receive Knowledge as a course: "The Keys," a title that said nothing.

"The whole idea was that there is an incredible possibility to prepare people for this gift of Knowledge by letting them recognize something very very simple and that their preparation needed to be in a way where it was the same for everyone."

The Keys do talk about participation. A lot of people haven't been told about participation lately, they've been just told "Here's Knowledge, have it and go enjoy it." … there needs to be a connection. The connection needs to be real. Participation is a beautiful expression of that connection. To participate in a way that is going to help the propagation take place throughout the world."

To qualify to be instructed in the Techniques of "Knowledge" via Prem Rawat's Authorised Automated Process, "the KEYs," initially took about 6 months of daily viewing of a required minimum of 60 hours of DVDs of his speeches before the techniques would be revealed unto you.

In 2014 this was dropped down to only 7 hours presumably because so few people were prepared to watch the required minimum of 60 hours.

Rawat is a technology freak who prefers gadgets to people. So the Keys was transferred from DVD to memory sticks once that was feasible. It was also much cheaper.

In 2018 PEAK was introduced, it was an updated PEP program, self-paced, app-based, and available free with more than six hours of videos

By 2020 the decision was made to cut "the Keys" back once again. It only required you to watch 5 one hour streaming videos

In 2024 - Prem Rawat's long-time Mistress Announces the Next Step: The PEAK RESET

In 2024 Prem Rawat's long-time Mistress, Monika Winslow the head of his latest attempt at world domination, Intelligent Existence, gave some update speeches which demonstrated that PEAK had been a failure (no surprise) though in Rawat-think this was a possibility for congratulations and inspiration as the reformatting and re-platforming of PEAK was going to be so successful that long term PWKs (the only ones watching the video updates) would have to step aside to let all the new people in. The long-term PWKs were in their 70s in 2024 so space for new people should not be a problem.

If the initial introduction of the Keys process had been successful there would be no need to change it so many times. Even after 20 years of tinkering Rawat's chief of Intelligent Existence and long term mistress admitted that very few people had used PEAK in its first 6 years.

Each new iteration of this Path to Peace has one thing in common with all the others. It requires less people, Co-Facilitators, the Facilitators Team, KIT Facilitators, Keys Facilitators, PEP Facilitors, PEAK facilitators, Knowledge Session Facilitators to support it and it's cheaper than its predecessors. Rawat's pool of dedicated premies eager to do voluntary service is drying up. This is exactly what happened in 1973 when the pool of young LSD-deranged counter-cultural crazies just running out of their faith in changing the world and finding meaning and bliss through "turning on, tuning in and dropping out" (ie drugs) and sticking it up their parents was about to run dry. It's the same pool just 50 years later.

The most obvious proof of the bogus nature of Rawat's Keys is the fact that the whole process of "Knowledge" can be taught in under 5 minutes. Rawat has so little confidence in this meditation that he believes a person must be "brainwashed" by listening to his speeches before they should receive the "Gift of Knowledge" else they'll just take a walk.
