Satpal Maharaj's Public Legitimacy

Prem Rawat's followers have always applauded his "tireless work" spreading "the Knowledge" across the globe. In fact his schedule shows he is incredibly lazy. This cannot be said of his eldest brother who has combined his career as a Godman with that of a politican who has held ministerial positions in the Indian National parliament. His career suffered as he reamined loyal to the Congress Party but has improved after he jumped ship to the BJP. Satpal's wife is also active in Uttarakhand state politics and is currently (2013) Minister for Tourism, Horticulture, Culture, Women Empowerment & Child Welfare and Renewable Energy. Their son Suyesh has taken over her role in state politics, "A picture is worth a thousand words." Prem Rawat, meanwhile, creates a blizzard of press releases lauding his minor charitable donations while he spends millions on himself annually. Though I did some intense google image searching I could not come up wth a single comparable picture of little brother Prem. In the competiton for success and legitimacy, Satpal seems to have made it, Prem is still spending PR spin money.
