Maharaji is The Master (in His own words)
1994 The Beggar
Try to open, open the doors, open the doors, open your heart. What the Master says cannot be understood by intellect. If you try to understand what a Master says by intellect, the net result is total confusion because the message is sent to the heart, not to the intellect. When the heart receives the message, "Feel", it's very clear, it's very clear. When this receives the message, "Feel", it says "What?" The message is not for this (points at head) the message is for this (points at heart). When you take Knowledge and put it here (points at head) it does not make sense, does not make sense. Take Knowledge and put it here (points at heart) and it's so obvious, so obvious.
Rawat's teaching ("what the Master says") is easily understood by the intellect but it's not easily believable and it's certainly false, unless you accept it without due consideration. That is why he castigates 'doubt' and 'the mind' because only if you accept his simplistic teachings that the heart and the mind are separate, antagonistic entities and you should just 'feel' his speeches would you accept his claims that he is the unique source of peace in the world today. Rawat is merely the leader of another insignificant cult whose members enjoy the shared beliefs of any cult member.
1996 Like The Rain
So what is the blessing for a human being. Of course we've talked about life, we've talked about that breath, we've talked about this existence and yes they're all blessings. But there is another wonderful blessing and that blessing is the Master.
Master, to me, is that manifestation of the yearning of the heart. If there was no yearning of the heart, believe me, there would be no Master. The fact that something within seeks, something within has created the need and the necessity of the Master. So the student is there and the Master is there and it is that the Master begins to show, to introduce that process.
1996 Remembrance
"That is why there is always a need of a Master for guidance. A man who can give us guidance to the perfect point of it so that we can understand, so that we can realize because it is something that is worth realizing."
Prem Rawat voiceover, 1996: "The remembrance of this Knowledge, the remembrance of the Master, the remembrance of that power that dwells in the heart of every human being. Just remembrance alone of these things can bring unsurmountable joy to a human being."
1999 4 Days in November
truly the people who have this Knowledge are so fortunate because when they wake up in the morning they can go within themselves, experience that thing which is within themselves. By putting all the other things aside and focus on the one way, you need to run anywhere else, the human being starts to run in that one direction where his Creator truly resides, where his Creator truly resides, where his true bliss is there. He doesn't know what's in front of him, what's behind him, what's above him, what's below him, that person goes to that place, he's in that place where everything is still, everything is beautiful and there's nothing else besides that bliss, besides that peace and the Master (Hindi: Guru Maharaj Ji) has opened that door, opened that path for the person to go to that place. What a beautiful thing, what is the difference? Truly, for that person who has this Knowledge (Hindi: premie) when he realizes that every step is so precious and he makes the effort to try and understand this, the world doesn't even try to understand this but people who have this Knowledge can try to make this effort, even a little bit of effort every single day that they want to fulfil their lives. Therefore the Saints and Masters have said "Blessed are those, blessed are those whose focus is in that direction of where there is that truth, consciousness and bliss where there is that Supreme Bliss, where is that, where there is that peace but also walk in the remembrance of that.
"However, in this life when a certain time comes then we know that we need to move forward. We need to move beyond us and from within me there comes such a loud, loud scream, a yell, a longing that this is not enough. Something so much more is possible and this is Maharaji's grace, Maharaji's Master, my Master's grace that I can see, even see this. People get to see this, they get stuck in what they're seeing, in their thoughts and they get stuck there but by my Master's grace I've had this opportunity to feel and go forward and move ahead. And I have made this effort to make this opportunity practical in my life. Because I have nothing to do with anything else. I have nothing to do with anything else, my work, my work, that is my number one responsibility and that is that this Knowledge that my Master has given me, this heart that has been shown to be, I want to fill this heart, I want to complete this heart, I want to fulfill this life.
So understand what this opportunity is and come together and stay in the direction (agya) of the Master and be synchronized and it's not like you should say "I want this, this is what I want. In service, this should happen and that should happen and everyone starts to bring in their own dreams in service. In service there is no need for dreams. Dreams will not be fulfilled through service.

The opportunity that is being presented here is to be a part of what it means To be there, to help the Master To be there, to help to be a part of the magic, the magic that this Knowledge The magic where the students come together and the Master comes together Has been played out on the face of this Earth many, many, many, many times
The Connection
"And this one thing called Knowledge, this one thing called the Master, this one thing called the student, this beautiful flower, this beautiful process of growth, this beautiful process of flowering. This Knowledge, this connection, that's what this is all about. When the Master gives, be ready to take. That's what a good student is, the Master gives, the student takes. The Master has to trust the student and the student has to trust the Master. This is, this is their relationship. That's all they have. it is so important that each one of you you have to have the connection with the Master. The trust is the most beautiful, the most delicate, indeed very delicate, the trust is the most beautiful connection between a Master and a student. Indeed trust is the most beautiful connection between anybody. But between a Master and a student it can be glorious. And what does the Master tell you? What, what does the Master tell you? What does Maharaji tell you? Be fullfilled, be happy, be in that joy Then I accept, I understand, because that's what I want too. Cause the student doesn't have any other wish than to be content, than to be in that joy. Then the student and the Master both agree there is a union. Let all the other stuff go and hang on to your heart. Let all the other stuff go and hang on to your joy. Let all the other stuff go and hang on to this Knowledge. And become simple so you can be fulfilled and that's the opportunity. Take it, take it. Understand what the Master is telling you, look at not only the words but the feeling. get caught on the words, let that magic happen and you will see that there is a three dimensional world. Not single dimension but three dimensional. Appreciate that it is the kindness, that it is the joy, from which this message comes."
"It's a total package. Physically there is a Master so you can connect and internally there is Knowledge so you can connect on both levels.
Make the connection."
2000 The Possibility of Peace
"What is it all about? There is a person, there is a Master, who makes Knowledge available. There it is. That's the beginning and the end of it."
"Knowledge and all things associated with it are compliments of the Master. The Master doesn't want Knowledge sessions to happen, guess what? They're not happening. The Master changes the rules, creates the rules, disposes of these rules as the Master wishes. The possibility of Knowledge is brought to you by the compliments of your friendly Master."
"If you're borrowing your neighbour's car, the neighbour says, "Yes you may drive it" but one day the neighbour may say "No you may not drive it, I want my car back." You have to realize ownership of Knowledge resides with the Master. Hearing about Knowledge is a privilege."
For decades Rawat has repeated that recruitment is the most important service his followers can do. The "privilege" was given to anyone who might read a newspaper.
"Also remembering, also remembering that it is the Master that needs to be connected to this person, right? and the Master's message that needs to be connected to this person, how much of yourself do you interject in that?"
"Master will give you an opportunity to do something and provide you more support than you can possibly imagine to accomplish it."
Nearly 25 years have passed since 2000, still hasn't been accomplished!
2005 On the Road
And in this life you have the most wonderful thing to do, to be reminded of this existence again and again. Listen to what the Master is saying. In earnest, go find and do some service. This is about us, that is about being alive, this is the opportunity. Take that opportunity. You're not going to be here forever. You're not. be under any illusion and let that sat in you. let that sadden you, let that madden you, just feel the urgency of today, that's all. Just put the sharpness on what it means to be alive today. It's the Master. What is important? It's this breath. Look at that, look at that.
Older Indian man: You have made such an effort to bring this Knowledge throughout the world. For that thank you so much. Thank you for your effort Maharaji. Till now that not been any Master like this like you who has brought this Knowledge throughout the entire world, thank you so so much. (Applause)
